Digital Receivers

Dishnetwork's first multi Satellite Digital satellite program was developed using the proprietary name "DishPro". All Dishpro antennas are locked onto the 110 and 119 satellites. During this time period 3 styles of receivers were developed. The most basic dishpro receiver is the Pro 311 Digital Satellite Receiver. It has only one digital tuner. More complex digital receivers were developed combing two tuners and dvr functionality. The Pro 322 Receiver has two tuners allowing the user to view two tvs from a single receiver ... Great for joining rooms. With the 322 you pay $5.00/month receiver fee but you can control 2 tvs. The PRO 625 receiver is the DVR in this category. It has Two IR/UHF dual tuners allowing you recording capability along with use in two rooms. The recommended dish for all receivers in the DishPro class is the Dish Pro 500.
