The VIP technology program was created to develope a High Definition MPEG4 Satellite System. Part of the task involved launching the new 129 satellite along with a line of decoders. Once again Dishnetwork developed the same style of receivers created in their DishPro digital program. The VIP 211 is the most basic HDTV receiver controlling only one tv. The VIP 222 can control two tvs. The Pro 622 and the Pro 722 can record while controlling 2 different tvs. All VIP receivers need the 1000.2 antenna which picks up the standard 110 and 119 satellites. Additionally it picks up the 129 MPEG4 HD satellite.
