It works a lot like a prepaid cellphone. You would need a prepaid dish network receiver, a legacy 500 antenna, and a prepaid card. On the card is a scratch off pin number. You set up your receiver, aim your dish, call the number on the prepay instructions, give them the number off the card and the receiver, pick you programming, and watch tv.
